    Yeah – shame it is sold out, I suspect it would be quite entertaining.

    Personally, I am not convinced that “debates” like this actually achieve much more than PR for the participants :-)

    That was my reckoning, it might have been both entertaining, and perhaps a little enlightening. Shame I’m at completely the wrong end of the country.

    I agree that the debate format for discussions of this nature is generally not the most productive forum — I’ve heard and read transcripts of more one-on-one conversations, and they seem to be far more civil, and fruitful.
