A fully paid-up secular humanist

22 April 2007

Well, that’s me paid my membership fees for the year to the National Secular Society, the British Humanist Association and the Humanist Society of Scotland.

Well worth it, and cheaper than giving 10% of everything I earn to men in dresses to spend on wafers, wine and discriminating against people.

Remember, the 10% is off the top before taxes and expenses, too. I wonder if pastors, priests etc typically give their 10% away.

I shouldn’t think so. Is there any point in taking of 10% just to give it back to yourself?

There's probably no god. Now stop worrying and enjoy your life.
