Open learning

20 May 2007

Further to my recent post about the OU, I thought that I’d make mention of the self-paced free open learning resources offered by the Open University, which includes a veritable slew of resources taken from the various course modules, as well as resources for educators and researchers.

A good example, which might be applicable for those who don’t have any idea as to what evolution is (naming no names) is the section on Evolution Through Natural Selection. (And check out the Flickr link on the acknowledgements page! :-)

And it’s all under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 2.0 Licence, which is nice.
