Humanist Symposium #5 this Sunday
The fifth edition of the Humanist Symposium will be hosted this coming Sunday (22 July 2007) at The Green Atheist.
This time, the most relevant topics are:
- whether atheists speaking out forcefully do more good than harm;
- whether atheists face a civil rights issue or merely an image problem;
- how atheists can successfully seek political office, and how we should react to religious candidates; and
- atheist perspectives on various controversial ethical issues
but of course any post with a humanist slant will be considered.
And, if the humanist muse is looking over your shoulder, allow me to pimp Planet Humanism just one more time. I promise to shut up about it from now on. Honest, guv!
