Humanist Symposium #5 this Sunday

16 July 2007

The fifth edition of the Humanist Symposium will be hosted this coming Sunday (22 July 2007) at The Green Atheist.

This time, the most relevant topics are:

  • whether atheists speaking out forcefully do more good than harm;
  • whether atheists face a civil rights issue or merely an image problem;
  • how atheists can successfully seek political office, and how we should react to religious candidates; and
  • atheist perspectives on various controversial ethical issues

but of course any post with a humanist slant will be considered.

And, if the humanist muse is looking over your shoulder, allow me to pimp Planet Humanism just one more time. I promise to shut up about it from now on. Honest, guv!
