The Telegraph: Rowan Williams on UK society

I was going to respond to this entire interview in The Telegraph, in which Williams is punting the opinion that without him and his church British society is going to the dogs, until I read this singular paragraph:

The Government needs to enforce strict controls on stem cell research too. “I can’t come to terms with the idea of a human individual being created for a purpose,” he says.

My emphasis.

Williams, you owe me a double shot espresso and a new keyboard.

I can’t read the rest of it, I’m laughing too much. YMMV.
