Revoke UK blasphemy laws (petition)

UK citizens: if you haven’t done so, why not take a couple of moments out of your day to sign the Number 10 petition to get rid of the UK’s blasphemy laws (deadline to sign up by: 8 March 2008).

Citizens of the world: Please post this on your own blog so that we can get a wider exposure for this. 70 signatories is a poor show for a modern secular nation.

Did I read that correctly? Only 70 signatures so far? I don’t know when I’ll be posting next because I’m on a ridiculous deadline. But when I do, I’ll be sure to link to this. If I lived in the UK, I’d be going door-to-door.

Do keep us posted on the petition’s progress.

I have signed up, I will suggest to heather that she does the same and, ideally, if she can make a post about it as well.
