I did hear that Hollywood is in pre-production for <cite>Rendezvous with Rama</cite>, which is, off the top of my head, probably my second favourite book of his. Let's hope that it does it justice, and doesn't turn out as so many book-to-film translations do. He was, at his best, a wonderful science fiction writer and can certainly be credited with directing the way science has progressed at times.
