Well, I think that was the most painless WordPress upgrade ever.

I've been using it since it came out as a Beta. I despised it at first, but it's grown on me. I really like the ability to upgrade it, install plugins and other such things from admin.

I was waiting for it to go past RC before using it here, and because my hosting provider provides automated updates I was also leaving it for the magic Internet bots to install on my behalf. :-)

The interface is taking a little getting used to, but at least the dashboard isn't full of WordPress news crap that I don't really care for (at least on this blog).

The auto plugin installation and upgrade features are something that I've been looking for for ages, but I've not tried them yet. I'm going to see if there's a plugin I'd like that I haven't already installed, just to try it out. :-)

    The upgrade was indeed painless.

However, the new interface…… Cant stand it.
