Nice one. Can't wait to see the movie…

I have heard mixed reviews about the movie. It'll be preahing to the choir with me so I won't rush out to buy it. Nevertheless a well crafted ending

I *ahem* "acquired" it when it appeared on the network, and it's certainly worth a watch.

Maher himself doesn't say that he's on our side of the fence and verbally fudges the issue, but it's clear from what he says that he is (in an agnostic atheist sense). Most of the humour comes over when he asks people what they actually believe, and he lets them answer. I don't think the editing is as nefarious as some have made out (long wandering shots seem to argue against this) although I do think it could have been a bit tighter.

I've added it to my Amazon wishlist/shopping cart in anticipation, even though it's not available in the UK yet. It's an interesting, and rather entertaining, take on various religious ideas from the horse's mouth, so to speak. If you don't buy it yourself, I would recommend at least renting it.

It probably won't make it to video here for some time. I will see if I can import it from the States. Time honoured technique, give someone enough rope and let them hang themselves.

There's probably no god. Now stop worrying and enjoy your life.
