Do you work in fire & rescue in Scotland?

22 January 2009

If you work in the Fire and Rescue Service in Scotland (especially in Strathclyde Fire and Rescue) this table is an easy to read chart of who you are expected to provide fire and rescue safety information to during the course of your employment.

Note: This chart doesn’t include other fire and rescue services (firefighting, rescue, emergency medical provision, etc.) for which you have been trained and may be expected to provide, but may not be exempt.

Notes

1. Exemption may apply to those of other religious traditions or belief systems. See your local diversity team or watch leader for clarification.

2. Unless this contradicts your personal religious principles, in which case you are exempt from giving a shit if this section of the population dies due to inadequate safety knowledge because you’re a fucking bigot, but nobody can do anything about it because you’re safe in the knowledge that a precedent has been set and you won’t have to do your job.

3. An employment tribunal case has already been settled excusing you from working if you hate these people (or, if you prefer to say you don’t actually hate them as people but only what they get up to in the privacy of their own homes which you might have to enter one day in an emergency) and won’t be expected to do your job.

I don't hate gays but what they are doing is a sinful perversion and they need to repent.

You say that like it's a fact, yet you're completely incapable of proving either that or anything else you claim.

    Twat.

Do you remember me from the freethinker web site? They stopped me posting because they couldn't cope with free speech.

Yes, I do. However this, like The Freethinker, isn't a public forum, and your assumed 'right' of free speech doesn't exist here. I'll tolerate you as long as I wish, or not.

I have no responsibility to let you have a voice here, and if you think you do have such a right, find yourself a good solicitor who will inform you otherwise.

You can go to The Freethinker and see why your comments were being removed: they told you exactly why, and warned you in advance. It had nothing to do with free speech. If you want to shoot your mouth off in public, go to Speaker's Corner.

    Consider yourself warned here too.

You must repent or face Hellfire when you die.

Repent of what? Show me this "hellfire" of yours. If you can prove it, do so. Otherwise shut the fuck up about it.

Any more asinine stupidity like this (and this includes quoting your magic book) and you're going to end up on my blacklist just like you did at The Freethinker. And at least I can demonstrate my blacklist, unlike you and your "hellfire", whatever the fuck that's supposed to be.

Repent of your unbelief or face Hellfire when you die!

Goodbye Bob. Say hello to Akismet.

    Bob – nonsense.

  10. T_W on January 22nd, 2009 9:26 pm

Bob – your understanding about "free speech" as well as the supposed rights you have, is as confused as your ideas about homosexuality.

Trolling on the other hand seems to be something you understand well.

  11. T_W on January 22nd, 2009 9:27 pm

Bob – repeating yourself doesn't prove a point. Shame on you.

    This is actually mind-bogglingly shocking.

    Is it for real?

There's probably no god. Now stop worrying and enjoy your life.
