Institutional lying for Jesus

18 February 2009

You’ve got to admire the sheer audacity of the bollocks Thomas Tobin keeps under wraps (and away from the kids, we hope) under his godly dress. This frock-wearing wingnut has unapologetically fabricated, out of whole (purple) cloth, a supposed interview with new US president Barack Obama in order to frame his misogynistic dogma.

/hattip: Homosecular Gaytheist (which I still think is an awesome blog name)

Seems like this Tobin nut should start having delusional conversations with Ray Comfort and they can then pretend to interview each other. Sometimes I think we should fund abortions for catholic priests. Ya know, a special adult abortion.

Typical demagoguery technique: Fabricate a set of quotes to convince people that that's how the liberal thinks. Oh yeah and I believe it's also called LYING. Good priest there.

LOL, pretty absurd "interview". His "Obama" is nothing more than a sock puppet for the anti-abortionists' strawmen of pro-choicers. I'm sure any sane pro-choicer would answer with more nuance and intellect. Maybe the good bishop thinks Obama is Dubya.

That interview is so obviously fake it's hard to believe anyone above the age of four would take it seriously…

No one has done so, right?

    This is actually insane.

The bishop is having an argument with an imaginary strawman and then sort of loses it.

    Wow.

Is this the effect that talking to an imaginary god has on you?

There's probably no god. Now stop worrying and enjoy your life.
