Welsh Assembly allow opt-out of indoctrination

Over at The Freethinker, Barry Duke has a post about the Welsh Assembly rejigging the law to allow sixth form school students to opt-out of enforced ‘worship’ at school assemblies, bringing it in line with the law in England.

Needless to say, the churchies are up in arms that their particular brand of indoctrination can no longer be forced onto as many as they’d like, but they do still hold the monopoly on 5-15 year olds. The jesuits would have been happy with that.

Even more faith schools?

There's probably no god. Now stop worrying and enjoy your life.
